How do I play spot the ball?

You will be shown an image with the ball removed. You can use the drawing tools to help you make your selection. This can help you align where you think the ball may be with the players eyes. Place your selection and proceed to check out. Video coming soon.

What is Spot the ball and why do you use it?

Spot the ball is a traditional skill-based game where the player has to guess the position of a ball which has been removed from a photograph of a ball sport. We are legally obliged to use a game of skill to determine the winner of our competitions - not simply a lottery or raffle. We use 'Spot the Ball' as it's widely recognised, fun and an easy way to enter.

I have another question. How do I get in touch?

We'd love to help. If you have any questions please feel free email us at info@watchlotto.com and we will get straight back to you.

How is the winner decided?

Once the competition closes, the spot the ball competition is judged by a panel of sporting experts who collectively decide, in their opinion, where they think the centre of the ball will be. The winner is decided based on the person closest to the judges chosen position.

What if more than one person chooses the same position as the judges' position?

If the judges chosen position matches more than one players entry, this will result in a ‘Tie Break’. In the event of a ‘Tie Break’ the player who submitted the first entry will win the main prize and the player who submitted second will win £500.

What if I don’t agree with the judges?

You may not agree with the judges perfectly each week, but many others will, including the guaranteed winners. Our panel of professional judges use their expertise and are always fair, honest and logical in every competition they judge. It is a subjective process and has to be, by law.

Is there always a winner?

Yes! We guarantee a first prize winner every competition.

Is there a cash alternative?

A cash alternative is available for up to 80% of the original prize value.

How do I claim my prize?

We will contact you via mobile or email. Its important to leave your details with us so we can contact you! As soon as the competition ends, we will be getting in touch.
